The Ancient Romans had a common expression they used called, "fit for Ceres," which meant splendid. The goddess of Earth is a perfect model for the results that come from Microneedling. They are splendid! Ideal for acne scarring and the overall aging process. This procedure is considered Nature’s Botox and is a form of collagen induction therapy. It helps to provide overall improvement in your skin and slow down the aging process in a natural way. Often shown as an excellent alternative to harsher procedures like surgery and injections, microneedling allows your own immune system to stimulate collagen production, minimize fine lines and wrinkles, combat sun and wind exposure, assist in repairing acne scarring, and overall brighten the complexion. In this procedure, your skin is numbed to a comfortable level. Afterwards I use a medical grade collagen induction service pen to create channels in the skin through medical-grade stainless steel needles and reach a clinical end point level. This forces the skin to heal itself and produce collagen and elastin at a higher rate than normal. Depending on your body’s own natural healing process, you may be shedding and/or experience redness for 24 hours or more. A preliminary consultation of a Juno facial is required to make sure you are a good candidate for this procedure. Best done in a series of 4-6 six to eight weeks apart, this procedure can show results after one treatment but results vary and are truly dependent on a dedication to aftercare and consistency. Must also make a commitment of dedicated SPF usage and skin care regime. Must be off of retinol and/or actives for minimum 5-7 days before procedure and no injectables or lasers for minimum 3 weeks.
